   MDT TO HVY SNOW WILL PERSIST OVER SERN CO INTO FAR WRN KS...WITH A
   NARROW ZONE OF FREEZING RAIN TO THE E. RAIN MAY CHANGE TO FREEZING
   RAIN LATER THIS EVENING ERN EDGE OF DISCUSSION AREA.
   
   STRONG ADVECTION OF WARM AND MOIST AIR ALOFT WILL CONTINUE TO
   PRODUCE AREAS OF MDT TO HEAVY PRECIPITATION ALONG FRONTOGENETIC
   SFC-800 MB BAROCLINIC ZONE. 00Z DDC SOUNDING SHOWS ABOVE FREEZING
   LAYER BETWEEN 850-700 MB WITH SFC TEMPERATURES JUST ABOVE FREEZING.
   THIS WARM LAYER WILL BE MAINTAINED THROUGH THE EVENING WITH SURFACE
   FREEZING LINE PROGRESSING SLOWLY EWD. THIS WILL CHANGE RAIN TO
   FREEZING RAIN OVER PORTIONS OF WRN KS AND THE OK PANHANDLE CURRENTLY
   JUST E OF FREEZING LINE.
